2017 (Sophomore):  Named to the 2017 Southern Conference Spring Academic All-Conference Team for earning an impressive 3.98 grade-point average in pre-business . . . saw action in 11 games on the mound, all of which came in relief . . . finished the season with a 4.15 earned run average and only allowed a total of two earned runs on the year . . . played a key role in the Bulldogs finishing the season ranked first in the SoCon in earned run average (4.35), fewest runs allowed (288), fewest doubles allowed (73), opposing batting average (.247), fewest earned runs allowed (231) and fewest hits allowed (439) . . . compiled a total of 4.1 innings on the season and tallied a strikeout . . . earned his second varsity letter.


 
2016 (Freshman):  Earned four appearances on the season and finished the year with a 0.00 earned run average . . . all of his outings occurred in relief . . . proved to be one of 11 Samford student-athletes to own a perfect 4.0 grade-point average . . . member of the 2015-16 Southern Conference 4.0 Grade Point Average Club . . . named to the 2016 SoCon Spring Academic All-Conference Team . . . received a 2015-16 SoCon Commissioner’s Medal for tallying an impressive 4.0 grade-point average in pre-business . . . earned his first varsity letter.


 
High School:  Starred at Northridge High School in Tuscaloosa, Ala., where he closed out his prep career as the fourth-ranked left-handed pitcher in Alabama . . . pitches with outstanding command and learned under the tutelage of former Alabama head coach Jim Wells at NHS.
