High School: Was a five-year varsity letterman at Guntersville High School . . . named first team All-State in both 2011 and 2012 . . . named 4A Hitter of the Year in 2012 after leading his team to a state title . . . named Max Preps first team All-American, and Perfect Game Honorable Mention All-American in 2012 . . . also named to the Huntsville Times’ Elite First Team in 2012.
