Biography

A hard-throwing pitcher who has made great strides in the last year . . . coaches expect big things from him this spring.

2012 (Freshman): Appeared in 14 games, including two starts . . . posted a record of 2-0 and an ERA of 4.37 . . . earned his first career win in his first start at UAB, pitching 3.0 innings, allowing just one run on four hits . . . also earned a win against Troy, tossing 5.0 scoreless innings, allowing five hits.

High School: Prepped at Christopher Columbus High School.

Personal: Born on Feb. 8, 1993 . . . son of Ely and Lia Gracia . . . majoring in accounting.
