Kettering makes smart decisions, and can turn the momentum of a match with her serving...a co-captian of this year's team, enters the season with 3,078 career assists which is second on Samford's all-time 1,069 behind Donna Moak's all-time record of 4,147...is also 7th all-time in service aces with 130 and 10th in digs with 720. Junior (2002): Recorded 1,243 assists to move into second place on the Samford's all-time assist list...started all 27 matches and was the only Samford player to play in all 103 games... recorded 10 double-doubles...now has the second and third highest single-season assist totals in Bulldog history...was two kills shy of a triple-double in season finale against Eastern Kentucky with career-high eight kills, 49 assists, and a season-high 19 digs. Set career best with seven service aces against Gardner-Webb and Jacksonville...season-high 69 assists came against Georgia State on Oct. 15...led the team with 52 service aces. Sophomore (2001): Played in 124 games, recording 1240 assists, which is the second highest single-season total in Samford history behind Brooke Skinner’s 1991 total of 1,373 . . . had nine matches with over 50 assists, including a season-high 58 against Campbell Nov. 3 . . . her top two assist performances have come against the Camels . . . second on the team in digs with 309 . . . posted a season-high 20 digs against Florida Atlantic Oct. 13 . . . led the team with 16 double-doubles and 42 aces, including a career-high six service aces against Grambling Nov. 5. Freshman (2000): Broke Samford record for assists in a match when she handed out 87 assists against Campbell Oct. 14 . . . moved into seventh place on the Bulldogs all-time assist list with 595 assists last season . . . was second on the team with 36 service aces.
