2008: Redshirted . . . participated as a ­member of Samford's scout team.

High School: Named first-team All-Region and All-State in 2006 and 2007 . . . named Offensive MVP of the West team in the Toyota East vs. West All-Star Game . . . named Williamson County Offensive MVP in 2006 and 2007, and Williamson County Best Athlete in 2006 . . . completed 320 of 664 passes for 5,076 yards and 60 touchdowns for his career . . . also rushed 400 times for 1,888 yards and 30 touchdowns in his high school career . . . threw for 1,851 yards as a senior and 2,143 yards as a junior . . . holds every passing record at Christ Presbyterian Academy.
