NCAA SOUTH REGIONALS
Samford will send five members of its women's squad to the NCAA South Regional meet on Saturday, Nov. 12 in Tuscaloosa, Ala. The women's field is set to run a 6k at 11:15 a.m. CT.

LAST TIME OUT: SOCON CHAMPIONSHIPS
Lauren D'Alessio, who led the SoCon in the 5k this season, ran a personal-best 16:40.70, finishing second with her first mark under 17 minutes this season. D'Alessio, along with the individual champion Ashley Schnell from UNCG, were the only two competitors in the field to run under 17 minutes. Her second-place finish earned her a spot on the All-SoCon First Team.

Holly Benson also ran a new PR, crossing the line 18th in 17:50.60. Chelsea Treadway and Deanna Zidar were the next to finish, completing the race near the middle of the 18-minute mark, in 33rd (18:19.40) and 39th (18:29.10), respectively. Frances Bernard finished in the second half of the field, finishing neck-and-neck with Davidson's Manya Swick, earning identical times of 18:49.20 in 53rd. Lillie Jackson was hot on her heels in 58th (18:53.80) and Alli Keithan rounded out the Bulldogs' seven competitors, placing 63rd in 19:06.60.

The men's team, who has struggled with injuries all season, only fielded five runners but still ran a tough race. Layton Dorsett ran his first 8k under 26 minutes this season, placing 32nd with a time of 25:33.03. Ramsey White was the next to finish, crossing in 26:34.02 in 63rd. James Graham and Henry Stevens-Carty finished back-to-back in 71st (26:56.23) and 72nd (26:57.66), respectively, and Nicholas Cork was the fifth Bulldog in 85th (28:38.58).
