Bulldog Field
Bulldog Field is Samford's only athletics facility that is not located on its main campus. The field can be found across Lakeshore Drive between Homewood High School and the Homewood Armory. The field is surrounded by trees, which puts the fans very close to the field and gives the Bulldogs a true home-field advantage. The field hosted the 2003 Ohio Valley Conference Championships and became a part of history when a school-record, above-capacity crowd of 1,054 watched Samford square off against nationally-ranked Auburn on Sept. 2. |
