Dear Bulldog Alumni, Fans, Friends, and Boosters,
Samford University, a member of the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), is responsible for insuring that its coaches, student-athletes, faculty and staff, alumni, donors, boosters, and friends abide with OVC and NCAA regulations. Compliance Corner has been prepared as a brief overview of rules that apply to you. Since all possible situations and scenarios cannot be covered on this website, please feel free to contact Peter Neuberger, Senior Associate Athletics Director at (205) 726-2975 or Courtney McCrory, SWA at (205) 726-4052 if you have any questions.
Samford Athletics appreciates your interest and support but reminds you of the serious consequences of OVC and NCAA violations. Your actions could jeopardize the eligibility of a prospective student-athlete, an enrolled student-athlete, and/or Samford University.
We are proud to have your loyal support and continued interest in our athletics program. Our measure of success begins with winning championships and placing teams in the NCAA Tournaments. However, our ability to build up these talented student-athletes to be champions in the classroom, the community, and in life represents our ultimate measure of success. As we strive to "Hit The Mark", we must always do so with the highest standard of ethical conduct. With your cooperation, we can accomplish these goals.
We thank you for your continued support of Samford Athletics and remind you to please: ASK BEFORE YOU ACT!
Sincerely,
Bob Roller
Athletics Director
